Where’s the Beef?

July 2 (Bloomberg) — Employers in the U.S. cut 467,000 jobs in June, the unemployment rate rose and hourly earnings stagnated, offering little evidence the Obama administration’s stimulus package is shoring up the labor market.

The payroll decline was more than forecast and followed a 322,000 drop in May, according to Labor Department figures released today in Washington. The jobless rate jumped to 9.5 percent, the highest since August 1983, from 9.4 percent.

President HopeChange?

March 13th, 2009

One and a half months into his presidency, Barack Obama’s approval/disapproval ratings begin to show that more and more Americans who were willing to give him a chance to prove himself are not liking what they are seeing. As indicated by Rasmussen Reports tracking polls, more significantly than his approval ratings dropping from 65% to 56%, disapproval has increased from 30% to 43% as “hope” for a “change we can believe in” continues to fall far from not only the conservative ideals of our forefathers but also our Missouri values of fiscal responsibility and personal responsibility.

MCV-PAC wonders how much longer until the majority of Americans realize what we know: the Democrat administration and its liberal policies will be exposed not only for the undeniable failure they are, but the cost to our children and society in jobs, dollars, security, and morality.
